Robin Sheared

Robin Sheared L.Ac., FABORM is a California state licensed acupuncturist and herbalist specializing in fertility, pregnancy, and post-natal care with over 15 years of clinical practice. She is board certified in acupuncture and Chinese herbology by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and by the California State Board of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. She is a board-certified fellow of the Acupuncture and TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine (FABORM), distinguishing herself in the field of fertility, and reproductive medicine. She is also a certified Tui Na practitioner (Chinese Orthopedic massage).
As Co-Founder and Clinical Director at Blue Ova Health, her compassionate approach to natural health care is aimed at educating and empowering couples to reclaim their natural fertility and create healthy babies, starting from the very beginning. She is passionate about blending the best of holistic modalities, grounded in modern medicine.
Robin is a provider for Integrative Fertility. She provides IVF/IUI acupuncture in conjunction with CCRM, RMA, Spring Fertility, Pacific Fertility Center, Dr. Aimee Eyvazzadeh, UCSF Fertility Center, Kindbody, Laurel Fertility Care, and other Bay Area fertility clinics.
Previous to founding Blue Ova Health, Robin founded and practiced acupuncture at her solo practice Essential Wellness. Robin and the team she leads have earned the distinguished recognition as "Best Acupuncturists in San Francisco” by Expertise and a "Top Acupuncturist" in the Bay Area on the Bay Area A-List. San Francisco Magazine named Blue Ova to the list of “Best Bay Area Acupuncture Centers”.
She trained intensively with renowned fertility experts, Dr. Lifang Liang, LAc, at the Gynecology Center, and Jennifer Moss, LAc, at Moss Acupuncture. She graduated from The American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and holds a master’s of science in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Cruz, with an emphasis on Biology.
Robin has attained a high level of professional qualifications as a leading fertility specialist and is on the committee of the Acupuncture and TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine (ABORM), and also a member of prestigious professional bodies including the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and Resolve. As well, she is an active member of the NorCal Fertility Group, a coalition of Chinese Medicine practitioners who focus on fertility and reproductive health
